Good eats from Uzu when they were operating out of Shopkeepers on Florida Avenue NE
The Langston Civic Association will hold its quarterly meeting tomorrow (Wednesday, Dec. 5) from 7–8:30pm at the Patsy Hartsfield Center (2026 Maryland Ave. NE). Topics for this meeting will include a public safety discussion, a look at local transit priorities (presentation by DDOT), the latest news on the outcome of the Sylvia's protest, and an update on efforts to reopen the Arboretum's M Street entrance.
The monthly meeting of Rosedale Library Friends will take place this Saturday, Dec. 8 from 10–11am at the Rosedale Library (1701 Gales St. NE).
Uzu is hiring cashiers and cooks. Full-time and part-time positions available are available. Uzu serves ramen and other Japanese comfort food at Union Market (1309 Fifth St. NE).
