Violent Assault/Robbery in the 1200 block of Mt. Olivet Road NE Overnight

A man was found early this morning (about 12:40am) in the 1200 block of Mt. Olivet Road NE suffering from injuries to the head and face. Per an email sent by Fifth District Captain Chris Moore "It appears to be clear that he was assaulted, reportedly by (4) black males, but due to his current state, it is unclear exactly what, if anything was successfully stolen." Another gold Chevy, this time an Impala, was involved in a force and violence robbery not far away just a few hours earlier. That occurred in the 1500 block of Isherwood (Rosedale neighborhood) and involved three suspects. I do not know whether the victim was injured. The text of that alert is below.
