A man was injured in a shooting last night around 7:15pm in the 1600 block of Trinidad Avenue NE. Per an email from Fifth District Lieutenant Brian H. Brown, MPD officers responding to a report of gunshots found the man suffering from non-threatening wounds, and he was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He was in stable condition at the time of his transport. The text of the original alert appears below.

A little later (7:38pm) an alert went out for a a stabbing in the 1200 block of H Street NE. I don't have any information about the status of the victim, but the alert does contain information about a suspect.
