While Connor Contemporary's new space undergoes renovation the gallery is holding its annual student show at 1341 H Street. 1341 is home to Taurus Development, which is donating the space for the show. Read more about Academy here. The show runs from July 11-26.

I'm pretty art illiterate so I will sieze the renovations on H St. thread.
Several times while waiting for the bus I have seen people working in the building next door to Sidamo. I wonder if this is just repairs to bring it up to code or if it's being renovated.
i saw a shitload of people there last evening. was quite unusual.
This is a really cool show. Something for everyone's taste. Makes me look forward to Conners opening.
