Maketto's courtyard has plenty of room, & should be perfect for Kid's Day
Maketto (1351 H Street NE) will hold its first annual Maketto Kid's Day Saturday, August 19th ( 11:30 am to 3:30 pm). The free event is open to all ages, and will feature treats, games, a magic show, face painting, and "balloon-making" (balloon animals?) in the courtyard. Maketto founder Erik Bruner-Yang used to host a Daddy Daughter Day, so this expands that concept. You can register on Eventbrite.
