MPD is asking for the public's assistance to identify two persons of interest in two gunpoint robberies that occurred in the 1800 block of H Street, NE, on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at approximately 12:55 PM and in the 1000 block of 10th Street, NE, on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at approximately 11:32 AM. The subjects were captured by nearby surveillance cameras.
The cameras didn't do a great job of capturing faces, but you can see their shoes fairly clearly. Here are some screenshots from the footage.
As NBC4 reporter Jackie Bensen pointed out on Twitter, one of the individuals sports some pretty distinctive shoes.

MPD offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent offense, including armed robbery, committed in the District of Columbia.

And this happened robbery happened at my home! I'm new to the neighborhood but I definitely got a rude awakening, no one hurt thankfully but a memory that will stay w/ me forever.

yikes! hopefully the ying and yang of the universe will sort things out for you. sometimes it's kind of like being hit by lightning. the chances of getting struck once are pretty slim. the chances of being struck twice are even slimmer.... hang in there! it'll get better. in terms of safety, it's better to be here now than it was 5 or even ten years ago. five or ten years from now we'll look back and say the same thing...

Sorry it happened at your home, but, i'd guess these are regular low lifes in the neighborhood.
