The Queen is Missing
Someone has stolen the Queen Vic from the Queen Vic (1206 H St. NE). A bust of the good queen has gone missing, remove from the tavern by person, or persons, unknown. The bar first tweeted about the theft on Satuday night just before 10:30pm pleading for the return of the treasured bust "Our Queen Vic bust has been taken!!  Please bring her back, no questions asked. She has a lot of sentimental value."

Duffy's Irish Bar Headed Our Way
Duffy's Irish Bar (2106 Vermont Ave. NW) will open a second location at 1016 H St. NE, the space that was formerly home to Liberty Tree. Duffy's is a sports bar and the original location's website bills the bar as "DC's Green Bay Packers Bar," "Home Bar of Georgetown Basketball," and "Home Bar of the DC Texas Exes." The bar offers a weekday happy hour 4–7pm with drink specials, and $6 orders of wings and quesadillas. Earlier this year the bar took home the Washington City Paper Readers' Poll for Best Wings in DC Metro Area for the eighth year in a row. You can find Duffy's on Twitter. Hat tip to Twitter user @pint_apple for sending news about the Duffy's sign now posted in the window at 1016 H St. NE.
