A woman stabbed a man yesterday about 4:38pm in the 1500 block of Benning Road NE. According to a message sent by MPD Lieutenant Peter J. Frenzel to a local email group the two "had been involved in an altercation that started in the 1400 block of Maryland Ave NE." The woman then followed the man and stabbed him in the back. Frenzel described the man's injuries as "non-life threatening." The female suspect was later located and arrested for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
