Camp Discovery at Gallaudet this Summer

Gallaudet University (800 Florida Ave. NE) will run a day camp on campus this summer for kids ages 4 to 11. Camp Discovery is focused on serving children who are deaf, hard of hearing, and kids of deaf adults (KODA), but all are welcome. ASL will be the preferred means of communication. Campers will enjoy a wide range of activities including those focused on: ASL instruction, storytelling, theater & dance, team building, sports, swimming, science, and creative arts.

The camp offers two sessions, July 8–19 and July 22–August 2. The program fee is $694 per session. Before care is available ($130 per session), as is after care ($160 per session). Limited scholarships may be available. If registering more than one child a 10% discount will be offered. Fill out the online form to register.
